Balcrank’s Lion 450 70:1 high pressure pump for use in applications that require extra pressure output, cold temperatures or when a low air pressure could limit pump performance. Pumps can be used with grease up to NLGI-2 viscosity. For higher viscosity grease a pneumatic or a gravity fed inductor plate might be required. These pumps can be used in large distribution systems that include simultaneous operation outlets.
The air operated pump hoist lifts and lowers the pump, making drum changes easier, faster and safer. The pumps lower end is rigidly fixed to a follower plate with a single rubber lip. The weight of the pump, pump bracket and follower plate plus atmospheric pressure push the assembly against the grease eliminating channeling and air pockets, keeping grease free from contaminants, minimizing waste and aiding pump priming.
