The Fleetguard LF3970 replacement oil filter is for high performance heavy duty diesel engines, like Cummins QSB series engines. The filter provides superior filtration, ensuring optimal engine performance and extended maintenance intervals. The L3970 oil filter has Stratapore filtration media, which is a multi-layered filter media with the optimum number of layers for particle removal.
For use with Cummins QSB and ISB turbo diesel engines to meet extended service intervals. The Fleetguard LF3970 oil filter includes Stratapore filtration multi-layered filter media for particle removal. This allows the filter to provide a nearly 50% reduction of filter restriction during cold start. The L3970 oil filter is designed for use on engines equipped with the LH100 remote head.
