NIBCO®’s bronze Y-strainer protects your equipment through its ability to filter solids from flowing streams, gases, or liquid piping systems. Each valve uses wire mesh straining screens to help filter through the valves. The NIBCO Y-strainer is installed going upstream in order to protect your valves, meters, regulators and more from harmful erosion, rust, pipe scale and dirt.
