The SharkBite 1/2″ Straight Stop is for controlling water flow to household plumbing fixtures. Made of chrome-plated brass, this lead-free stop valve features an oval handle for easy operation. It is compatible with TV 608933 Cinch Clamps and requires the Cinch Tool TV 608743 or copper crimp rings for secure connections to cross-link polyethylene PEX tubing. After crimping, each fitting can be tested to withstand over 100 PSI. This stop valve meets various industry standards, including NSF 14 & 61 for use in potable water systems, CSA B137.5 standards, and NSF CL-R certification for use in hot water systems. It also complies with AB1953 California and VT S152 Vermont low lead restrictions.
